Digital Empowerment for the Underprivileged, In today’s world, digital literacy is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. At REAP, we’re bridging the digital divide by offering free computer training to children and youth from slum communities who have limited or no access to technology.

Our Computer Training Program is conducted at multiple REAP Learning Centers in Kalwa East—Shivaji Nagar, Bhaskar Nagar, Thakurpada, Waghoba Nagar, and Jai Bhim Nagar—where we provide structured and hands-on digital education using fully equipped computer labs.

What we teach:

MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Typing skills and file management
Internet browsing and email usage
Basics of digital safety and online etiquette

Confidence Through Communication:

For many children and youth in the slum communities we serve, language is a barrier—one that affects their confidence, limits their career opportunities, and creates a gap between them and the world outside. REAP’s Spoken English Program helps bridge this gap.

Our Programs

Computers

The Computers program introduces children to robotics, where they learn mechanical design, electronics, and programming through exciting projects. This hands-on approach makes learning engaging while developing fine motor skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. By building robots, children not only grasp technical concepts early but also gain confidence and creativity through practical experimentation and collaborative learning.

Internet

The Internet program focuses on building strong coding skills, starting with block-based coding and advancing to real-world programming languages. Children learn how to develop their own games, websites, and apps. This journey enhances their logical thinking, creativity, and technical expertise, giving them a head start in the digital world and preparing them for future careers in technology.

Spoken English

The Spoken English program helps children improve their communication skills in a fun and interactive way. Through engaging activities, they develop vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational confidence. The curriculum also promotes logical thinking and clarity in expression, helping students become more fluent and articulate. It’s designed to build a strong language foundation while encouraging creativity and public speakings

Why It Matters?

Most of our students come from families where computers are out of reach. With digital skills becoming essential in education, employment, and everyday life, our program helps these children unlock opportunities, perform better in school, and prepare for future careers.

We conduct structured Spoken English classes that focus on practical conversation, grammar essentials, public speaking, and personality development. The goal is not just to teach English—but to make students confident in expressing themselves.
