REAP Development Center

Bridging Gaps, Transforming Lives

The communities where REAP works face challenges that go far beyond financial hardship. Poverty is often accompanied by limited access to basic rights, essential services, and government welfare schemes. Many families struggle to obtain identity documents, healthcare benefits, educational support, and social security simply because they lack awareness, digital literacy, or the guidance needed to navigate complex government processes.

To address these challenges, REAP has established the Development Center, a dedicated community support initiative committed to empowering individuals and families with the knowledge, resources, and assistance they need to access their rights and entitlements. More than just a service center, the Development Center serves as a bridge between underserved communities and essential government programs, helping people secure vital documents, enroll in welfare schemes, and improve their overall quality of life. By strengthening families and promoting dignity, the center complements REAP’s mission of educating children while fostering stronger, more resilient communities.

Our Impact

What We Do ?

We organize door-to-door awareness campaigns and group meetings to educate slum residents about government welfare schemes, health benefits, and social security.

We set up camps at our REAP centers to help people with form filling, documentation, online registration, and submission processes for:

  • E-Shram Card
  • Ayushman Bharat Health Card
  • Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana
  • ABHA Health ID
  • New and updated Aadhar Cards

Our outreach team provides personal support to those who need extra help—whether it’s elderly citizens, single mothers, or uneducated adults.

We help residents understand complex legal and digital terms by translating important information into simple Hindi or Marathi.
